What a Summer!
Target:
Summer, sun, and women’s football – the WEURO 2025 as a highlight
This summer had a lot to offer – and besides the great weather, the Women’s Football European Championship in July was a real highlight. In the big cities, it was almost impossible to miss the public viewings, and countless bars and pubs showed the matches live. Even though Switzerland didn’t make it to the final, the atmosphere was consistently positive, and fans enthusiastically cheered for all the teams.
Photo booths as a crowd-puller
Photo booths were a fixed part of many side events – including our assignment for adidas. Throughout the entire WEURO in Basel, Kaffee Mitte became a meeting place with numerous offerings: live music, DJ sets, shirt printing, and much more. The “Three Stripes Club” campaign served as the creative basis for the photo booth. Every visitor could create a photo strip with their personal favorite player – as a printout or directly to their smartphone via QR code. The interest was huge: guests lined up to take home their souvenir photo – even if the footballers were “only” digitally embedded in the pictures.
More brands, more experiences
Not only adidas used this form of activation. We were also in action with our photo booths for Nike, SWISS, and VISA, and were able to connect fans and brands in a special way.
Outlook
The WEURO has shown how powerful events and digital interactions can be when combined. We are already looking forward to upcoming projects and inspiring collaborations with partners like Brogleworks, JEFF agency, or aroma productions.
