IKEA – Sleepyheads wake up

This year at IKEA is all about sleep. To celebrate this, IKEA launched a nationwide marketing campaign in Switzerland at the beginning of September. In keeping with the theme of “sleep”, IKEA is providing the right setting in all stores to offer visitors a special experience. A photo box is provided at each of the 10 locations, where customers can take great souvenir photos. Whether alone or with friends – the photo box is perfectly staged and invites you to capture the moment. This makes a visit to IKEA not only a shopping experience, but also a fun event for anyone who likes to smile for the camera!
With the slogan “IKEA, buzz and win”, IKEA attracted numerous visitors to all Swiss stores at the beginning of September. In addition to the chance to win stylish sleep caps and even an entire purchase, customers could also look forward to a special highlight: creative sleep settings that invited them to take a souvenir photo. These special photo corners were perfectly coordinated with the “sleep” theme and were equipped with a photo box so that visitors could take a fun photo on the spot and print it out to take home with them. While the photo shoot itself was a relaxed pleasure for the visitors, there was a major logistical challenge behind the scenes. Numerous employees ensured that all photo boxes were delivered to the ten IKEA locations on time, set up and collected again after the event. On site, hostesses took care of the smooth operation of the photo boxes and assisted visitors. The entire organization was coordinated in collaboration with the JEFF agency to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The feedback was consistently positive: the IKEA stores were delighted with the campaign and the customers also had a lot of fun. The campaign was therefore a complete success, giving visitors not only great prizes but also a lasting memory of an extraordinary event.
