50 years of BLT

Baselland Transport AG (BLT) is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a year full of exciting events and activities involving the entire region. However, it is not only customers and the public who are getting their money’s worth, but also the numerous employees who have made a significant contribution to the company’s success. To celebrate this special anniversary appropriately, a festive boat event was organized on the Rhine in mid-May. In addition to souvenir photos, this was also to be used as a long-term overall picture – perfect for our mosaic activation!

BLT hired the renowned riverboat “Rhystärn” for the staff party. To ensure that all employees were able to attend, the event was spread over two days. This decision ensured that BLT’s operations continued to run smoothly while every employee had the opportunity to take part in the festivities. The ship event offered a variety of attractions. A talented sketch artist created portraits, first-class musicians set the mood and guests were treated to a wide range of culinary delights. A special highlight was the photo box set up on the stern of the ship, which served as an inviting terrace to linger on. Guests were able to take photos with fun props and take them home with them as a souvenir. However, the photos also had another function: they were used as stickers for a mosaic picture. A large canvas with a pre-printed grid was gradually filled with the photo stickers over the course of the two days. In the end, an impressive mosaic was created from the individual photos, which was handed over to BLT and has now presumably found a place of honor in the head office. This mosaic perfectly symbolizes the messages “Part of something big”, “Together we are strong” and “Together we can do anything”, which illustrate the togetherness and team spirit of BLT. The response to the event was overwhelmingly positive. Employees and managers alike had a lot of fun and thanks to the perfect planning, the celebration was a complete success. BLT thus sent a strong signal of recognition and appreciation to its employees and celebrated not only 50 years of company history, but also the strong team behind this success.
